What Mesothelioma Research is going on currently?

There is lots of Mesothelioma Research going on and many researchers are working hard to develop a cure for cancer but more importantly with regards to this disease, a quicker way of diagnosing this cancer.

The National Institute of Health is currently working towards this goal. They are also researching symptoms, earlier diagnosing techniques, and treatments.

Clinical trials have also been made by The National Institute of Cancer or NIH into the treatment of mesothelioma. These trials were performed with real patients who have been diagnosed with mesothelioma. The trials should also help to determine how effective the various treatments are and will hopefully help researchers find more effective treatments for the disease.

A great deal of research time goes into learning about the effects of asbestos upon cells and how the cells are changed by exposure to asbestos. Researchers feel that by learning how healthy cells are corrupted by asbestos that cell corruption can be prevented or minimized.
